Essential Oils and Aromatherapy
Life Elements products are formulated using nature's most precious therapeutic ingredients and purest essential oils - most

Aromatherapy is considered to be a form of holistic healing and has been used for thousands of years to promote physical,
emotional, psychological, and spiritual well being. It is the use of volatile liquid plant materials, known as essential oils
which are extracted from various parts of a plant, including the stem, leaf, flower, bark, fruits and even the root. Scientific
studies have shown that essential oils contain chemical components that can exert specific effects on the mind and body
and can affect a person's mood or health.

Tea Tree Oil

attack fungal and viral skin infections. Tea Tree comes from Melaleuca alternifolia, a plant indigenous to the swampy areas of
Australia.
Researchers and physicians have reported Tea Tree oil to be four to five times stronger than the usual household
disinfectants (e.g., hydrogen peroxide) and yet stings far less when applied to minor abrasions.
According to reports, Tea Tree oil has proven to be effective against fungi such as Candida albicans and ringworm, and
bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, and Streptococcus. In the publication Natural Health, Natural Medicine, Dr.
Andrew Weil stated that "Tea Tree oil is the best treatment I know for fungal infections of the skin.
Tea Tree oil has been effective in fighting such skin disorders as eczema, psoriasis, toenail/fingernail fungus, athlete's foot,
ringworm, dry/cracked skin, acne, dandruff and in treating insect bites, boils and minor wounds. It has also been known to
help soothe sunburns, poison ivy, ear infections and bee stings.
Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus oil relieves the symptoms of colds and flu, sore throat, hacking cough and stuffy nose. It helps clear the nasal
passages to enable free breathing.
The oil has strong antiseptic and germacidal disinfectant properties and can be used as both deodorizer and sanitizer. The oil
can be used as an insect repellent and for the relief of insect bites.
For problems such as asthma, allergies, sinusitis, or bronchitis, you can rub Eucalyptus (try using Action Wipes) on the chest
and under the nose to open bronchial passageways and loosen congestion. Eucalyptus rejuvenates red blood cell
functioning, creating more oxygen for the lungs. You can also spray it on your pillow at night (or place an Action Wipe) to
help keep airways open.
Eucalyptus oil is effective in reducing fever, promote healing and reduce scarring of cuts, scrapes, burns, and abrasion, repel

Let’s get this out there from the get go – These Are Not Your Standard Nursery Wipes – they have very little in common with the wipes you use on a baby’s bottom.
What makes them different is that they are designed with the outdoor athlete in mind. They are the ultimate wet wipes. They have a very nice smell of Tea Tree and Eucalyptus, and they do not have that dry your skin alcohol burn. They are made with a polyester fabric that can be reused by washing them (up to a few times each). They then can be recharged with a Sports Spray that can be used with the recycled wipe. The spray can even be used on a washcloth. After the wipe is finally spent, it can be placed in the recycle trash bin.
Action wipes is an approved green business by Green America and are committed to implementing responsible environmental practices.
So what do we think of them at Bicycle.net? Well, we like them. They do what they claim to do, and they do it well. They clean your stinky, sweaty skin, after a hard day on the bike. They have a slight sudsy quality that leaves your skin clean and smelling quite nice. We washed them with a mild body wash and then reused them with equally good results. They are much better then the baby wipes we have used in the past. Put simply, they are a great way to clean up after your ride and before your walk into your local coffee shop and empty the place out with your post ride odor.
